Project Description:

Field research in Bo, Kenema and Pujehun districts on needs and existing financial mechanisms for households to support them in funding own investments in incremental improvements of own WASH infrastructure and for setting up businesses of local private sector active in WASH Self-supply. Visit of community saving schemes as financing mechanism for collecting funds for operation and maintenance of community water supplies in remote rural areas. Assessment of options and development of recommendations.
